Making Merit on New Year's Day , annually held on January 1 in front of the office of the Muang Municipality and at the multi-purpose ground of Amphur Takuapa, the ceremony offers auspicious opportunity to people for making their merit on the new year's day.

Light Offering Ceremony, annually held From January 8-9 at Wat Kositaram, Amphur Kakong , displayes local shows and sports & game.

Melon Day, annually held from January to February in the compound of the Kuraburi's office , exhibits agricultural produces, in particular melon , melon contest, beauty contest, exhibitions and local food.
